My name is Dr. Sagui Doering, and I am the Founder and Leader of The American Scholar Collective. I am a seasoned and credentialed K–12 educational leader and administrator with extensive experience across every sector of the educational landscape. My professional mission is to enrich the homeschooling experience by empowering parents who seek a robust, values-aligned alternative to the current educational system—a homeschooling experience that prioritizes excellence, intellectual independence, and long-term student success.
Throughout my career, I have worked within and alongside the K-12 public, private, and alternative academic models. This broad exposure has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of how educational systems function, where they succeed, and where they fall short. As a result, I am uniquely positioned to guide homeschool families who want more than a one-size-fits-all solution and instead desire a values-aligned, strategic, and customized approach to their children’s education.
My decision to focus my leadership on the homeschool community stems from a growing concern shared by many families: the increasing presence of ideological bias, academic dilution, and serious misalignment between institutional priorities and the American family values. Parents deserve the freedom to direct their children’s education with confidence, clarity, and expert support. The American Scholar Collective exists to meet those needs through intentional guidance and concierge homeschool services and tutoring designed to support both parents and students at the highest level.
